Rose is a calligrapher, teacher and artist.  Rose led a team to letter on the walls of her church, painted on a guitar and has calligraphed thousands of envelopes.  Writing on paper, golf leader boards, rocks, walls or objects:  this is what makes lettering so much fun!

She took her first lettering class at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville as an evening course and fell in love with the tools, the learning and the zillion applications of this amazing art.  Rose will always be a student of lettering.

Rose teaches calligraphy classes for beginners and more advanced students.  Classes include Copperplate, Foundational, Italic, a new hand ‘Quirky’, Basic Bookbinding, Paper Backgrounds and Contemporary Illumination.  As students ask, plans are made to accomodate requests and schedule classes.
